Shred Events
Community shred events give individuals an opportunity to have their documents securely shredded and later recycled at no cost to them.
Rock Solid Shredding partners with multiple organizations across Arkansas to facilitate these shred events and even host a few of our own from time to time. At some events, donations are encouraged, in which case all proceeds go directly toward the sponsoring group.
If you are looking for a free paper shredding event in Arkansas, check out our calendar below. Our events mostly take place during the spring and fall, and we regularly update our calendar with new events.
Important Notes
Contribution Limit: Our shred trucks can hold around 9,000 pounds of shredded paper. In order to ensure that as many people as possible are able to utilize these free shred events, we limit each person or group to five file boxes worth of paper (which equates to around 150 pounds) for each event. Sometimes, we can accept more than this depending on a specific event’s turnout, but it is not guaranteed.
Accepted Materials: We are only able to shred paper and paper-based products, with the exception of staples, bulldog clips, and other common metal fasteners. We cannot shred plastics (such as three-ring binders and plastic bags), cardboard, x-rays, batteries, and other non-paper items. Please sort through your material accordingly prior to attending a shred event.
The Process: Cars form in a line that leads to the side of our shred truck. Once you pull up to the shred truck, volunteers will help unload your paper and ensure there are no prohibited materials mixed in. We shred all paper on-site using an industrial-grade shredder built inside of our truck, and we recycle 100% of the paper we shred.

We are an Arkansas-based, family-owned provider of secure paper shredding, hard drive destruction, and document scanning services. With offices in Little Rock and Springdale, we serve organizations and individuals across all of Arkansas and into bordering states.
If you are unable to attend one of our shred events, or if you have more paper than a shred event can accommodate, we offer a walk-in shred service at our Little Rock and Springdale offices. Our pricing starts at $10 per file box for the first three boxes, then $5 per box thereafter, but please note that walk-in paper is not shredded immediately on-site.
We also offer our signature on-site shred service, in which we drive directly to your location and shred your documents right there on-site. Please contact us to receive a quote for your specific job.
