Our Story

Rock Solid Shredding was founded in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 2012, providing organizations and individuals with a local alternative for secure, on-site paper shredding services. What began as a small and dedicated team that primarily served the Central Arkansas region has since grown to become one of the state’s leading providers of not only secure paper shredding services but media destruction and document digitization services as well. Rock Solid Shredding currently has offices in both Little Rock and Springdale, with service coverage across the entire state of Arkansas and into southern Missouri and eastern Oklahoma — all while preserving local roots and family values.

In 2022, when Rock Solid Shredding was still primarily focused on the Central Arkansas region, locals and shred industry veterans Jeff and Christy Ward acquired the Little-Rock based company. Jeff holds over twenty years of experience in the shredding industry, much of which he spent as the co-owner and manager of Arkansas’ preeminent shredding provider at the time. After this provider transitioned from a franchise to a corporate model, Jeff eventually decided to part ways in 2017.

After a hiatus, when the opportunity to acquire Rock Solid Shredding presented itself, Jeff and Christy set out on a new journey in the shredding industry, motivated by their desire to provide Arkansans with a better alternative for secure shredding services. Rock Solid’s service coverage quickly expanded beyond Central Arkansas, and in 2023 their youngest son Bryce Ward joined the company to help lead the company's expansion into Northwest Arkansas. And in 2024, their eldest son Tanner Ward joined the company to lead and manage continued growth in Central Arkansas.

As Rock Solid Shredding continues to evolve, our team’s commitment to high quality service and ethical pricing has remained unchanged. All customer service is handled in-house from our Little Rock and Springdale offices, and we are one of the few shredding providers that never add fuel, environmental, recycling, or other forms of surcharges onto our customers’ invoices.
